Come and beat the blues with a lovely evening at Grange Farm Shop learning the ancient art of fermenting your own food.
Helen is passionate about foraging, sprouting and fermenting to increase the nutritional value of food and helping to cut down on waste in your kitchen.
Helen will be running through the basics of fermentation, her knowledge of gut health, the importance of eating well, talking about what works and hoping to break down misconceptions or fears we may have around starting a ferment.
You will be chopping, squelching, smelling and tasting and having a wonderful, informative and fun time; a lovely way to spend an evening in the company of like minded people, enjoying a hot drink and a nice mug of soup. To top it all off we’ll send you home with a little pot of something Helen has fermented in her own kitchen, you can either have a little mason jar included in your ticket price or bring your own little jar and Helen will give you some of her fermented vegetables.
